Tom Kelly, PT
Owner, Physical Therapist
Tom graduated from The University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences and received a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy in 1979. He started his career as a staff physical therapist at Baptist Memorial Medical Center in Memphis, TN. In 1982, Tom moved back to Knoxville, TN where he took the position of Director of Rehabilitation Services at St. Mary's Medical Center.
Tom Kelly and Andy Smith opened Associated Therapeutics, Inc. in 1985. Tom is certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation which includes the treatment of Balance Disorders.
Tom and his wife, Dianne, have three children. He enjoys sports, the outdoors, and spending time with his family.
Andy Smith, MS, PT
Owner, Physical Therapist
Andy received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Kansas State University in 1971. He continued his education at the University of Kansas where he received a Certificate of Physical Therapy in 1972. In 1978, Andy received a Master's of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California, Graduate School of Physical Therapy.
Andy served the United States Army as Captain and Staff Physical Therapist at the U.S. Army Hospital in Okinawa, Japan. Prior to beginning private practice, Andy served as Clinical Director at The University of Tennessee Physical Therapy Department. Andy Smith and Tom Kelly opened Associated Therapeutics, Inc. in 1985. Andy specializes in Industrial Rehab including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Job Site Analysis, and Ergonomics Consultation.
Andy and his wife, Tina, have four children. Andy has a passion for running. He has participated in many local charitable long distance running events and has run in the Chicago, Hawaii, and Dublin, Ireland marathons - just to name a few.
Amber Z. Hall, PT, DPT
Amber graduated from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center & received a Master of Physical Therapy degree in May 2006 and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in December 2006. Amber joined the Associated Therapeutics, Inc. team in August 2011.
Amber got married in June 2014 to her wonderful husband, Preston. They enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, and hiking.
Niel Corrier, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Niel earned his Physical Therapist Assistant degree at South College in 2005. He worked at Fort Sanders Parkwest Hospital from 1995-2000. There, he worked as a cardiovascular technician assisting with heart catheters and invasive procedures. Niel also worked at Lakeshore Mental Health Institute as a psychiatric specialist for the USAR 844th Combat Engineer Battalion. He joined Associated Therapeutics, Inc. in December 2005 and is working as a Physical Therapist Assistant with a concentration in aquatic therapy treatment. Niel enjoys hiking, swimming, water parks, traveling, the beach, and spending time with his fiance, Hope.
Chris McCamey, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Originally from Morristown, TN, Chris moved to Knoxville in 1999 to attend the University of Tennessee. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science in 2003. During his time at the University of Tennessee, he became interested in Physical Therapy and returned to school at South College to pursue a Physical Therapy Assistant degree. After graduating in 2007, Chris began his PTA career in Knoxville where his concentration was on manual therapy techniques. He joined Associated Therapeutics, Inc. in November 2010. Chris enjoys many forms of physical activity such as weight training, tennis, basketball, and more. He also enjoys living a fairly healthy lifestyle, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
PT Coordinator and Work Conditioning Technician
Marie is a Knoxville native who has been with Associated Therapeutics, Inc. for 20 years. She has served in many capacities during her employment. She is currently working as the PT Coordinator and Work Conditioning Technician. Marie enjoys traveling and is an avid Lady Vols fan!
Michelle has been with Associated Therapeutics, Inc. since 1995, serving in many different capacities during that time. She does a little bit of everything to help keep the company operating smoothly. Some of her responsibilities include Human Resource Management and day-to-day operation management. In short, she keeps this place organized and running smoothly.
She and her husband, Steve, are active members of Clear Springs Baptist Church in Corryton. They enjoy spending time with their family, playing music, camping, and hiking. They have two wonderful sons, two beautiful daughter in-laws, and two precious grandsons.
Kelly McCarter, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant, Insurance Coordinator
Kelly graduated from Maryville College and received her BA in Physical Education and Wellness in May 2010. She continued her education at South College where she received her Physical Therapist Assistant degree in September 2012. While studying at South College, Kelly worked in our Jump Start Health and Fitness program as part of the fitness staff. She began working as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Associated Therapeutics, Inc. in August 2013.
Kelly enjoys the outdoors, playing soccer, sports, and spending time with her friends and family including her Great Dane, Layla.
Kathy joined Associated Therapeutics, Inc. in April 2015 as the Receptionist and has five years of experience performing administrative duties in the physical therapy profession. She enjoys meeting and greeting the patients and ensuring that they experience the family environment that AT has established. Prior to her employment with AT, she was an Office Supervisor for 24 years with Levi Strauss & Company until their plant closure in 2002. After that, she worked as an Assistant Property Manager in commercial real estate for six years.
She has two daughters, Stephanie, who has been a PTA for 17 years and Kelley, who has taught at West HS for nine years. Kathy enjoys traveling with her husband, Tom, spending time with her daughters and 3 grandchildren, and doing arts and crafts.
Pat came to work at Associated Therapeutics, Inc. in April 2014 in our Physical Therapy office. Pat retired from Merita Bakery in 2012 as a Human Resources Assistant after 10 years of service. Pat is a part time Receptionist and enjoys her job and responsibilities. Pat says that the best part of her job is getting to meet our patients and clients with care and understanding. There is no other place like Associated Therapeutics, Inc. and she wants you to feel the same way.
Pat has been married to William Harris for 36 years and lives in Fountain City. They have a daughter, Cozetta, 2 sons, Kori and Patrick, and 4 grandkids.
