Melody Thompson
Manager

Melody is a Knoxville native whose experience includes 13 years in the health and fitness industry. Melody has an Associates of Science degree in Exercise Science and is a Certified Personal Trainer. She joined Associated Therapeutics in May 2008. For Melody, fitness is not only her career, but it is a lifestyle she shares with her husband, Adrian, a long-time personal trainer. Melody enjoys bike riding, hiking, and spending time with her two children. She completed her first triathlon in August 2010 and continues to training for other such events.

Sarah Bauguess
Assistant Wellness Manager

Sarah grew up in Knoxville as well. She attended the University of Delaware, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science in 2004. Then continued her education at the University of Tennessee completing a Master of Science degree in Sport Psychology in 2005. Sarah joined Associated Therapeutics in November 2007 as an Exercise Specialist. She is certified as a Personal Trainer, Arthritis Exercise and Water Instructor, and a Pool Operator. From age six, Sarah has been an avid figure skater with a growing passion for coaching. She's been a figure skating instructor at the Ice Chalet in Knoxville since her senior year of high school. Sarah completed her first triathlon sprint in 2010 and plans to continue training and competing in the future. Sarah and her husband, Justin, welcomed their first child in October 2011.
