Class Descriptions
Yoga - 45-min class
Come and relax! Yoga is a safely designed workout to strengthen the core muscles of the abdominal and back. Soft, relaxing music with slow, controlled movements that lengthen and strengthen the body. Beginners welcome.
SilverSneakers® Muscular Strength - 45-min class
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities of daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
Zumba - 1-hour class
Zumba is a fusion of Latin and International music and dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, and effective workout system. Zumba combines high energy and motivating music, unique moves that allow participants to dance and have fun while getting fit. Zumba is based on the principle that a workout should be - fun and easy to do, motivating participants to stick to the Zumba System program and achieve long term health benefits. Zumba is a feel-happy workout, great for the mind, body, and soul!
Jazzercise - 1-hour class
The classic Jazzercise class is one hour long and consists of dance movements 'on the floor'. The class begins with a warm-up before about 30 minutes of aerobic exercise, followed by strength training. These classes may be supplemented with weights, exercise balls, or stretch bands. This is a perfect class for all ages and fitness levels, come jazzercise with us; we would love to have you!
